Topaz acting a little "off" to me, so I gave him an extra 1/2 pill of PB. I thought it can't hurt, right?
He ate some diarrhea cat poop earlier too.
Other than that, all is well!

Yes, I have done this too. We know our pups well, and I beieve our gut instincts are quite reliable on this. Better safe than sorry!
